I have a sentence that appears at the bottom of dozens, probably hundreds, of pages within a site and was almost identical on each one, except for the start and end which feed in from a CMS database - eg
"Brown Widgets are in our opinion a very good choice for anyone looking for widgets in Townville"
"Blue Widgets are in our opinion a very good choice for anyone looking for widgets in Cityville"
I decided to randomise the middle bit so that it looked less boring, so now each time the page loads the sentence is slightly different, but always make sense and convey the message we wish to send.
"Blue Widgets are, we believe, an excellent choice for anyone looking for widgets in Cityville"
"Blue Widgets are among the best widgets available in Cityville"
"Blue Widgets will not disappoint those looking for top quality widgets in Cityville"
Is this an issue for Search Engines - the fact that each time they see the page it is just a little changed? Does it seem spammy?
I wish it were possible to add a real fresh sentence to each listing, it would involve going back over more than 200 entries one by one and updating them, which I do not really want to do.
Thanks
