Hello,

I have a site with the domein in the form of:

www.widget.com/my_site

hosted on a friend domein.

If the domein www.widget.com has a PR of 5 in google, can my site www.widget.com/my_site get PR 6?

I meean, can my subdomein have a higher page rank that the actual domein widget.com?

I think there is no any obstacles to get your site PR6, but.. If you think that PR of your sites directly depends on your host site - your are wrong.

Yes. I have had subdirectories that have had higher PR than the main domain. PR is a function of incoming links, from a page, to a page.

Also, what you have is a subdirectory.

A subdomain would be (from your example) in the form of my_site.widget.com.
