problem with google ranking

I have problems with google page ranking.

I company sales software and has 4 software products. Every product had it's own access page in the same domain: mycomp.com/soft1.htm, mycomp.com/soft1.htm

We have decided to create separate page for product and registered separate domain. We have moved all information about product, made 301 method redirect (Server redirect) from previous software site into new domain, changed most of the referral links to new domain.

The problem is that old page had hight ranking on some keywords in google but now this site does not appear in google if you search from one of the keywords. Even doing search according to product name it does not appear.

In other search engines everything works fine, new page is shown if using the same keywords.

Maybe somebody could share the ideas, what we did wrong?

A 301 permanent redirect says that this is for use when a page has been permanently moved and you want people to record the new address in place of the old one. While temporary redirect is when a page has been temporarily moved to a new location.

We have used permanent redirection.

Well, however I'll suggest you should publish the changeovers to an online press release informing the online community of this changeover; usually people forget to do that.

301 Redirecting to a new domain name will kill your ranking for at least a month. Your new domain has NO reputation as far as search engines are concerned. Expect at least three months before rankings return-if ever. Sorry.
