Forum Moderators: phranque
I've heard a lot about Wiki's, and I'm thinking that with the right Wiki I can let my relatives build the content of this site without needing a lot of help from me. Like most families, there are a lot of family members who aren't the most computer savvy.
The basic requirements are that I would like to use my own domain name, it should have a though-the-browser HTML editor, I would like it to be able to accept uploaded images, it should have a customizable template, and it has to be easy to use.
Am I barking up the wrong tree here? I'm a Windows-anything programmer, and I haven't seen any Wiki software for an MS platform, so I figure I'll have to pay for shared hosting somewhere.
Anyone familiar with Wiki's, please let me know if what I'm looking for sounds reasonable.
Thanks!
found that for you

I used UseModWiki for many years. It's simple and easy to use once you get around the syntax. Recently I've been playing around with DokuWiki and like what I see so far.
