Is there any program out there that will "save" a whole website onto a harddrive, so you don't have to save page by page?

Do you have ftp access to this site or just web access? If the latter, httrack works for me.

I should have clarified. How do you save someone else's website to a harddrive so you don't need to save it page by page.

Search for 'offline browser'. This type of software allows you to download any site to your HDD to be browsed while offline.

Though many of them do so at an unacceptable rate.

Many webmasters ban them by user agent id.

Others ban them dynamically if they start crawling faster than is acceptable.

So please make sure that whatever software you use addresses these issues.

If the site is dynamic you will only get static content, not the scripts that created that content.
