I run a small business. Rather than chase up invoices before my clients hosting runs out and then recieving the payment and THEN paying MY host, I thought it might be better if I started re-selling hosting. That way, my clients can pay for their domain and hosting, leaving me to get on with designing. Anyone with any comments?

And does reselling mean I can sell hosting on a site with my own design, because the host I'm currently with only offer some sort of affiliate program, with links to paste etc, which I wouldn't like.

If you sign up with a reseller account with many hosting companies you can often do what you want.

You can either take a complete server and then it's up to you to support, patch etc, or you can sometimes have a virtual server that is kept up to date for you.

One thought, are you experienced with hosting, (eg supporting ftp, emails and all the other things that people seem to have problems with).

Cheers
