Hi folks :)

What are the alternatives available for adding voice chat functionality to your own website? How do they compare on price and functionality? H

How does what's available to "you and me" to put on our sites differ in terms of the USER EXPERIENCE from the user experience on Yahoo's, Skype's, or AOL's voice chat?

Are there major features that only the Google's, Yahoo's, and MSN's of the world can offer....that just can't be duplicated by a small time web developer? (maybe voice mail?) If so, which features are they?

Is this a costly thing to do right...even if there is an open source framework on which to build?

Is the "maintenance" of the system as you scale to more users significantly more difficult or costly than standard chat modules?

Actually, with VOIP being so inexpensive, I just use the phone.

To clarify: I'm interested in offering the voice chat to the many users of our website.
