Accessing a blocked site

Accessing Hotmail.com

Hi,

Is there a way to go around when trying to access a particular site - say hotmail.com. It is currently blocked.

Depends who is doing the blocking. :) A site can be blocked by an employer, an ISP, even a country. Often it is employers who block access to sites such as Hotmail for two reasons - one that they don't like employees checking their mail on company time, and secondly that they want to raise the barriers for illicitly sending out messages or information which by law needs to be monitored by the company.

Are you prepared to get fired or worse just because you want to check your mail?
