Trying to keep track of my domains...

Hi all,

I've been trying to find a decent and FREE(!) application that can track numerous domains I own.

I thought this would be easy, but I'm having problems. All I want to do is input my domains and be able to see when they are due for renewal.

If the application provides whois information all the better.

The only application I have found that's nearly there (Domain Status Reporter - from Softnik) doesn't support co.uk TLD's. As I'm in the UK and most of my sites are co.uk's that's not good for me.
I have tried contacting the company (twice) but haven't received a reply.

I'm hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance...

Yeh, I'd like to know as well. At the moment I use Excel, but is a real pain to manage a large number of domains registered with different registrars via a spreadsheet.

Looks like I'll have to creat an Excel document to keep tabs on my domains!

Hmmm... That's funny. I have all my domains listed with NetSol. If you are a Gold Member, they do all that stuff for you. List of all your domains, sort by expiration. Auto billing, User permissions, grouping domains and globally changing DNS servers, etc. Not sure how many domains you are talking about. I have several hundred.

I did have my domains listed with my provider.
They also allowed me to add domains that weren't hosted with them - did a good job displaying the expiry dates etc.

Then they withdraw the service with no warning!

That's why I'm after a standalone application.
[150-200 domains would be fine for me]

'Webdude' - Something to think about incase it happens to you!

I hold a few domains.

I use an Access database. Worked well for 30+ registrars and those few cough cough domains.

I also simplified my life by doing a domain consolidation to a single registrar.

I agree that a database would work better than a spreadsheet if you have a large number of domains. Although things could be made simpler still if you were to consolidate all domains to a single registrar.

Been there - done that. Much easier with one registrar.
