Tracking clicks with static links?

Is it possible to have static html outgoing links and still track the clicks? I would like to give my customers stats as well as link benefit.

AFAIK, no. You'd have to fake the URLs using eg. JavaScript (and forward the visitors to a counter script which would redirect them to the desired destination).
