Welcome to WebmasterWorld neo2remember!

What format is your mailing list in? What operating system is your server running?

I use Ezinedirector, sending 40k emails would cost about $40.

It's not free, but I'd use AutoResponse Plus to do this sort of thing.

there is a way to do this through microsoft office;

Have your list ready in excel - all email address in one column, copy the HTML page to word as a HTML doc and perform a mail merge send.

Can write more info if you need it..

I wouldn't send 100k emails from your personal computer thru your ISP - it might cause some problems and most likely go into spam anyways.

I'd trust a 3rd party to handle the mailing. They know what they are doing and have experience. Many of them know how to avoid getting into spam folder as well.

I am not going to suggest any specifics, but just do a search for mailing list providers or bulk mail providers. Make sure to check their spam policies and do not sign up with the ones that are pro spam.

Many companies offer an easy upload of your mailing list. You can export your word file into .txt and just upload it to them.

Btw there was a recent thread here about the mailing list ISPs. Have a look around, I don't remember where it was.

I would use GetResponse as your third-party (you may need to split your list into days). If you choose to do it yourself then I suggest Advanced Mass Sender.
