cant put my finger on it but generally my traffic is down on multiple sites... Jan was huge, april the worst.... anyone concur?
Is it me, or is it spring in the US and we are all getting over taxes?

My traffic is constantly growing, the message board is a true factor for that. However I can say I havn't surfed much due to taxes ;)

>due to taxes<
I saw a pretty significant drop off in sales in early April which I attribute to taxes. Seems to have picked up in the last week though. :)

I work with some regional tourist sites (one of which is for my own properties). Traffic and sales are both down a lot in April. Down enough that I quit looking at the logs for a couple of days :( Maybe it is the tax thing.

I dont do sales ;)
Visitors are up, due to G update, but page views are down...i guess people are wanting to spend less time online as the magic ball might suggest.....

My traffic has grown quite a bit lately, thanks mostly to Google's April update. However, sales have been slower than usual for the last week or so. I'm assuming that has something to do with people doing their taxes or feeling poor after writing checks to the IRS. (We're definitely coming into the busy season for sites like mine; I deal in European travel, and most of my readers head for Europe from June through August.)

Same here. Higher traffic, lower sales.

There is a proven formular to help you predict traffic if your audience is in the UK. It might work in other countries though.
Average Traffic + Good Weather = Low Traffic
Average Traffic + Rain = Good Traffic

Chris - for UK sites, shouldn't the rain variable be applied equally in all equations? :)

April was also poor for us. May was excellent, and so far June has surpassed expectations. I hope it lasts.

Most of my traffic comes during ".edu" hours.....holidays are looming.
Traffic down 40%......nice quiet period to build upon and have mean rankings by the end of Summer :)
