Bots gone crazy

Lately I've been getting just a ton of bot traffic from the major SE's. Almost daily they visit more than humans. Sales are still good, I'm getting quality visitors. But those crazy bots... what's up?

I'm not complaining. I'll reserve that for when they stop visiting.

Hi Grandpa: I've neen getting spidered by all sorts of dogs and cats, robots I never
heard of, wannabe search engines, college computer science projects you name it.

I figure a search engine pulls its own weight when the traffic they refer
exceeds the bw of their crawls. So far, G and Y pass this test, and possibly MSN.

Baidu (China) spiders some, I don't recall a very deep crawl yet.
They finally referred somebody browsing!
I checked and found a very few chinese sites linking in (same niche.)
Using my (english) keywords, Baidu actually ranks my site fairly well!
I don't know my KWs in Chinese, but suspect I'm in the boondocks for that. -Larry
