hey I'm using CSS on my site and none of my html files are very large. I position my divs on the page in a logical manner right now banners first, left side of the page is next, then content, then right side of the page, then footer. My question is will moving the main content of the page from the middle of the html file to the top make a difference with search engines or is it not worth my time.

Also does having my menu bar and banner on every main page before the content make a difference. For example will having all the main portions of the site interlink with one another hurt me at all.

Hi icpoorman,

Some of your question can be answered in this thread

Look at reply #7 from Googleguy. He confirms that content inder 100k is good for them. So if your page size fits, I would not take the time.

For the interlinking, as long as the content is releated this should help your rankings.

A general rule of thumb, If it good for your users, it's good for the SE's.
