Hi

I have lost the password to a number of FTP accounts on our dedicated server.

I've looked everywhere for the facility to change the password but can't find it anywhere.

I've already deleted 2 web sites and re-created them but it's really time consuming.

Does anyone know of a way to change the FTP password on a dedicated server that uses Microsoft Windows Server?

Cheers

Mick

What do you use as FTP? Widnow's default FTP? If yes, do yourself a favor and purchase a commercial FTP server. I just purchased a good one for some measely $34.95. Much more powerful and a lot more secure then default MS stuff. Then just Remote Desktop into the server, install new software, disable MS FTP service.

Thanks guys, finally sorted it out.

Start > right click My Computer > Manage > Users and Groups > Users > right click Domain Name > Reset Password > Proceed > Enter New Password

Just like that (for those of you who know Frankie Howard).
