Best Translator?

Hi guys,

I want to make a few different versions of my site.

So far I've tried the Google and Altavista Babel Fish translators. Well, I can't tell how good of a job they are doing because I don't know German or French.

What do you guys recommend? It doesn't have to be perfect. Even if I check out a few different ones I can't tell which is best.

Any info would be appreciated.

The best translators are human, nothing else comes close.

The ones you used already are about the best online ones out there. Test it out - find a site in German or French and translate it with one of them. Terrible, comprehensible maybe, but nobody would stick around.

most of the french translators I have used aren't very good, sometimes impossible to understand.

as abbeyvet says, human is best. I had to do a site recently and wouldn't even do it myself (and I speak french), I paid to have it done professionally.
