Hi Samantha - welcome to WMW.

There's certainly nothing worse that unknown charges showing up on a bank statement or credit card statement. The problem often occurs simply because there are so many companies out there that run multiple websites but only use one merchant account. This causes discrepancies between who you thought you purchased from and who charged your card.

Directnic is a domain registrar - you can find them at www.directnic.com. If you've recently registered some domains this could be who you actually got them from. They should be able to tell you what the charge was for if you call them or email them.

I believe dot.la is a registrar as well but I don't know what their web address is. The same goes for them - they should be able to tell you what the charge was for if you ask.

Good luck - I hope you figure it out and it's all legit.
