Meta Tags?

I have heard that once meta tags are properly written, that it is good advice to update the meta tags daily. Maybe just changing, removing adding 1-2 words! In doing this it makes the google bots want to keep revisiting your site because if is constantly changing. Is there any truth to this?

Also, I heard that it is a good idea to follow the same format for the front page of your site. Change a few words daily. What does everyone think about this?

Thanks for any help!

Many or most will tell you meta keywords (at least) are largely ignored by the engines.
It might do a little good to make small changes in the text of your pages
from time to time. That at least indicates you work on your site. -Larry

I wouldn't worry too much about changing your meta tags. Keeping your content fresh is more important ... this includes adding new pages (and yes, updating your home page), etc.
