Hi All!
I need help!
I have a small 15 x 15 image pattern set as my background so that it repeats creating a pattern effect. When I view my page on a 800 x 600 monitor, it continues to pattern outwards on the right hand side creating the need to scroll across. It is just a big blank space column of the pattern..Here is the link:
<snip>

(Dont worry mods, it not a competition site, its not even released yet. Please help.)

Thanks!

I couldn't even see the repeated pattern you refer to.
What I DO see is that the page is entirely too slow loading on a dial up connection. - Larry

Hell! Thats a slow loading page even on ADSL. I would guess your page is set to be 100% width in a browser set for 1024 x 768.

So when you view it in an 800 x 600 window it will put a horizontal scroll to match the 1024 width.

A bit of a useless explanation but I can't think of another way to word it.

Repeating background images do not force scrolling -- they only repeat to the edge(s) of your page. Therefore, the problem stems from another source.

Your absolutely positioned div that starts at 627 pixels left and is 320 pixels wide just might have something to do with it.

And yeah, your page takes absolutely forever to load over my DLS, too. Your html has 183 errors, plus quite a few css errors as well.
