Maybe the files are damaged? Maybe you should delete the old files and download new ones?
If this doesn't work you should have your pc scanned for viruses or spyware programs. Sometimes files/programs can be placed on your pc that will cause your pc to malfunction.
Hope this helps:)

first time heard that...how do we do ..plz explain in simple steps?
"Are you downloading them from a secured site (https)? MS IE has boatloads of known issues for SSL when it concerns PDF files. "
i fail to understand...can u be please a bit more explicit and simplistic...?
thanks for replying...
Somthing that's unclear in this thread: Are you clicking the file and opeing it directly in IE, in a browser window, or downloading it to disk and opening it in the Acrobat Viewer? They are distinctly different environments with a common helper app.
If other users can view the PDF's, they (should) be fine.
So try to eliminate IE issues. My suggestion would be to view it in a different browser, if you have one.
Another way to eliminate IE from the equation: right-click the PDF, select save as and save the file to disk. Open the Acrobat Reader and try opening the file that way.
i did that its not helping?

i have heard the name of different browsers like firefox but then i am not any advanced user...also i have just 1 -2 hrs dailr for computer as i am in finance field...so wanna stick to IE with which i am comfortable (unless shifting is absolutely necessarY)

any other idea /suggestion?
feeling so frustrated not able to view pdf document...
rocknbil is correct though, you'll have to eliminate possible variables, one-by-one.
