And cloaking is something you should be careful with. You can get banned from search engines. I believe it is considered bad practice.(illegal)

Robots/Bots/Spiders/Crawlers are bits of software that go out onto the web to retrieve web pages and such like. They will return them to the source to be filtered/analysed/abused.

Keyword stuffing is the excessive use of keywords on your webpages. You will get caught and you will get penalised.

Cloaking is the art/practice of serving spiders/bots one thing and serving the end user another. For example if a spider of a known address requests a page your server will give them an optimised keyword rich version in order to rank well. When a user or unknown address requests that page a version with all the sales and advertising gumpf is delivered. This is just one use for cloaking.

<edit>cloaking is not illegal if you get away with it and there are circumstances where cloaking may be considered necessary. for example code protection.</edit>
