Need help creating portal

Hi,

I am interested in creating a community portal, similar style to Yahoo, but a directory service with website reviews than an actual search engine.

I will be offering product and site reviews, as well as articles (mine and free articles)

And, of course, sticky content, rss feeds, online games, that sort of thing.

And, I am interested in reviewing products/services, and believe that I can get free products (ex-rental, factory products, etc) to be tested for addition to the website. Is this a feasible idea? I notice that there are a *lot* of websites that receive free products to do reviews on their site.

Could someone please recommend a program, free template, or something that would enable me to achieve my goals.
