Hello,we are currently designing our new site and would like to use PAN to serve ads.

We wanted our header and footer to be SSI and both would have ads via PAN. is this possible? our site will have thousands of pages and ssi seems to be our best option. any other suggestions?

thanks alot!

I think you should be able to add your pan code as as ssi. From experience with phpadsnew what I have found is placing the code on a page is enough. you can then alter the ad settings from within the pan admin area.

I think I know where you are coing from. Different site areas with one ssi?

This may be possible by passing a variable to the ssi to tell it what part if the site is is currently placed on.

What I have done in the past is to have different pan code placed on different sections of the site.. Once they are there they are left. If I want to change ad options I have been able to do this from within the control panel.

Mack.

pan does an excellent job delivering ads. Are you building static html pages? or are you going into a cms? CMS would be a nice solution and I know that pan works with several.

thanks for the info

the site is html only, with the header and footers being included via ssi.

I have been trying to get it to work via ssi,but with no luck.
