Can anyone tell me what someone with my job duties should be making?

I work for a small company. We have 26 websites up and running as of today. My day to day duties include: website design, website maintenance, submissions, linking, SEO, PPC management for adwords & overture, maintain the ecommerce store, etc. My question is, what is the general pay rate that I should expect. I have been with the company for 2 years and I work 40 hrs per week.

I consider that an impossible question to answer with the info available.

A better question would be how much could you make for yourself if you could dedicate 40+ hours a week to putting up your own 26 site and managing and maintaining them.

Do you do any web work for yourself currently? Are you making any money at it? If so, try to estimate how adding another 40 or so hours a week to your own projects would impact your earnings.

My train of thought here is that depending on where you live, your education, the corporate environment etc. etc. you could be making anywhere from 5K to 100K a year doing what your doing.

It's going to be geographically specific, for sure. Even then it's a tough market, it could be anywhere from minimum wage to six figures, depending on how good you are and your value to the organization.

I'm sure if you google long enough you'll find some census stats that may get closer to your answer.

The best answer I can think of is to ask for a pay rise as you must think you are worth more than you are getting paid.

So many people never ask, you'd be surprised how often it works.

Make a good case, don't look as though you are playing them off against others, just make them aware of your worth.

Obviously a small percentage of bosses are idiots and may object to the request so you need to think if you have such a boss before going for it.

Let us know if you get 10, 15 or 20%.

My 2 year review is comming up at the end of this month. The problem that I have is that the company I work for doesn't understand the value of the internet. (Even though when our websites went down for a day last year, our sales phones did not ring at all). I have done research on how much a webmaster makes in my area (PA), it was about 50K to 80K. The problem with that is that I do not do all the duties of a webmaster (like the server side stuff). But I do alot more like SEO work, Internet marketing work, PPC and so on. I do know that they will have to give me a significant amount of a raise in pay or I will look for another company to work for.

Start looking for another job. When you get offered something better, go back to your boss and offer to let him/her match it.
