Constructive ways to 'waste time'?

Ok so time = money right? Well I waste hours on the net doing various things to do with my websites... I look for directories to list my sites, I seek link exchange partners, I check my serps, I check my affiliate earnings, I check a few forums on my sites, I read webmaster world, etc, etc, etc! It seems I could do stuff like this forever and I am pretty sure I could be doing something more constructive!

So my question is this...
If you have an hour long lunch break to kill then what do you do to help along your websites?

I normally do brainstorming. I always carry a little pad so I can make lists of article and category ideas.

Then when I actually get to sit down and work I know pretty much what I need to do.

If you have an hour for lunch I would suggest going outside and eating a sandwich. The break will do you good.

I take a break and go back to whatever I'm doing with fresh eyes.

I like to play Bejeweled or online Poker or Mille Bornes.

I play it without guilt and with gusto!

Then I go back to work. Considering I pretty much work 24 hours, a little indulgence is fine....

If you work 24 hours a day, you will burn out. We have one night set aside a week for killing. That's killing on the computer. Right now we are working our way thru Medal of Honor - Breakthru.

That's a great question! Especially considering how time starved we can get almost without noticing.

I sometimes spend my "break", such as it is, talking to folks about related or unrelated news, thinking about expansion options, exploring new options, or other general stuff.

Other times I take the opportunity to focus on a specific issue or problem more intensly. That could be something like choosing anchor text and or how widely to apply it.

My daily break(s) get(s) me away from in front of my computer and that may be it's biggest benefit, regardless of what I spend the break doing.
