I've checked hotscripts, and my host, and i'm overwhelmed with the options for a "mailing list program".

My needs are as follows:
1. Users can subscribe from my webpage
2. Users can unsubscribe at any time. (not necessarily from my webpage).

Thats it!

I don't need something complicated - i just need to capture addresses mostly - does anyone know of a simple, easy to implement, mailing list software?

I've checked with hotscripts and the like, but they seem a little to complicated...

Thanks,
Andrew.

What type of coding do you want the script to have (php, asp, perl)? Also, do you want the data stored in a database (like mysql) or do you want flat text files?

Hi,

I'd prefer flat text files, but ultimately if it's mysql is fine. Also, PHP / CGI is prefferred, with no preference given either way...

Let me know if you know of something.

Andrew.

I would personally recommend the open source PHP Multiple Newsletters. You can search hotscripts to find it. It uses MySQL and PHP as the coding.

Good luck with your mailing list!
