Create another site, looks exactly the same

Would it be bad if I was to create another site that had the same exact format (identical layout) however different content? I am going to create another site that is similar in theme, but I will create unique pages. I am a bit lazy to create another design layout for the new site, so would it be safe to use the same exact format, with different content?

I don't think that would be a problem as long as the content is different. I see a lot of sites ranking okay that use the same Frontpage templates as many other sites.
