Does anybody know a resource that supplies an XML feed or some type of access to Geographic information?
Particularly, I'm looking for City Names and States in the US.

I've heard that this is available via UPS, etc... but haven't been able to find it.
Any help would be appreciated.

The USGS (United States Geological Survey) has massive amounts of gazetteer data for public download.

[geonames.usgs.gov...]

(not in XML format though)

To expand on this, does anyone know of any feeds that provide this information in a more straight-forward manner?

The GNIS site provides a link to a zip file... for each state, and I've noticed different delimitations on different states. It was last updated September 2004... and am assuming that this is pretty recent.

It would be great if there was a resource that provided this via web services... heck, I'd even pay for a subscription :)
