I would not recommend this, sending unsolicited email to promote your website is a good way to get it shut down.

Your problem is precisely why people often use the information from DMOZ to flesh out their directory to start.

I took a look at your site earlier today, and it was riddled with spelling and usage errors.

If you want people to take you seriously you have to clean up your act.

You mentioned it in an earlier post today and I looked up the name you dropped.

I posted the same comment in that thread too. Hire a proofreader!

It looks like you got an error at the top of the page, it shows ; and some of the pages when you go to submit you get an error, it says page can't be found. Also the site looks dead, so some webmasters may feel it's a waste of time to submit to your web site. Also some pages that have listings, it's takes to long to load all the images on a 56K modem, yes I am still in the Ice Age. :)

First you need to have a working site (permission denied and not found).
You also need to get rid of those sessions and make sure your site and it's categories can be indexed.
You indeed have spelling errors "maxamize your groth with us" along with a multitude of spelling/grammer errors in your "terms & conditions".
You need to seed your directory with listings that you review - this could take days/weeks with many hours involved if done correctly by hand.

The rest is personal:
First of all I would never have a site with "links" in the domain.
Reciprocal link directories (which I believe it is?) are "dead" …the owners just don't know it yet.
You should not be pushing your own sites and services in the Navigation – very cheesy and you won't be taken seriously as a directory.

There are some very good threads here on WebmasterWorld on the subject of directories - look them up.

That's all the info I will give…for free :)

I'd never list in your directory; your outbound links are 302'd to the target domain.

One of your "internet" category sites is offering warez and pirated music downloads.

As others have pointed out, the site is riddled with typos, spelling and grammar errors and stray coding errors (there's a stray ; at the top of pages).

A successful directory should ideally have some sort of quality criteria for submissions, which the site does not have.

Frankly if you are going to take such low-quality sites you might as well set up a script to let people add their sites automatically and just leave it on autopilot.

Since DMOZ offers their data copyright free, it can hardly be considered stealing.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with listing "small sites".

The question is simply the criteria for which listings are added. A "small site" with unique quality content would be welcome in any directory. A site written in pidgin English that is nothing but a reseller for "web hostinh" (as you call it) is perhaps not the best candidate.

Finally, if you site is in "beta" why have you been promoting in all kinds of threads.

You asked for advice, and your getting it. Were you expecting people to say "wow, dude, that's the best site in the whole world, you rock!"?

Well, the standards are pretty high here, but no one is here to hurt your feelings, so take your licks, and take the advice given.

Or don't. It's your website. If you want to make a low quality "directory" of amateur affiliate sites for our brothers in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, go for it.
