Hello All-

With ARIN's rules, it is getting harder and harder to find a host that will provide enough IP's for IP based hosting.

Do you think that the search engines and spiders treat sites differently based on if the site is being hosted with its own IP?

There's been a lot of speculation about that. The usual word from SEs is that with the sheer number of named-based sites it is impossible for them to treat them any differently. Let's face it, for the average site, name-based hosting is the default; most folks don't know there is an alternative.

That said, my main money maker is on its own IP. It's usually only a buck or so a month more, so if you want to hedge your bets you should go for it.
