Is SmartList secure?

As in.. will people be able to spam my subscribers?

My webhost, has the usual control panel. And it provides me with a mailing list feature. It's SmartList.

I set it up to be a newsletter, and so that only I would be able to send out emails. It's setup to accept emails from one specific email address.

What I'm wondering is, will somebody be able to fake my email address and therefore send out email(spam) the subscribers on my list?

I'd like to know now so I can switch to something else, if necessary.

Well, after a day of 'research' and testing. I figured out that SmartList really isn't too safe.

I setup a test mailing list, and was able to 'fake' the maintainer's email address and send emails out.

So, then I decided to look for some good Mailing List Managers.. I went to www.hotscripts.com, and came across Mail Mojo(http://mojo.skazat.com), I tested around with this for awhile and it seems to be pretty stable, not to mention all the options that it has.

Well, there I go. I provided myself with my own solution!
