duplicate sites linking to one major site

how can i get them removed?

hello here is my problem,
one of my compeditors is beating my on all search engines.
but not only is he beating me on each engine he has about 3-5 sites in the top 10 that all link to the same website.
now these sites are all the same format, they only have slight diffrence in their text content.
so when i search for one of my keyworkds up comes about 3-4 sites that link to the same website.
is it possible to warn search engines. as this is not fair on the rest of us who are trying to make a living.. .
i do not want to try his risky tatctics but i may have no choice!

any ideas guys?

Fine! Leave out this tactics. It is something to avoid if you don't know well what you do.

I would suggest you the following address where you can find a spam report service by Google:

[google.com...]

I think there isn't a similar "service" on other SEs
However you can try to search for.

I would only add that you would see your competitor results in a long term. I doubt that with this tactics can have a long life...
