Dodgy offer via logspam

I don't know what to make of this... brand new logspam shows up, I check it, like the idiot I am, and see an offer to pay me for linking to their site. This is a first for me. Is this totally shady, or are they just desparate? I can see it at least p*ssing-off G, by stuffing me in a bad neighbourhood.

The site URL is along the lines of www. t*m*z*nesf*rpcs.com/links.html

I have never seen this. However, someone else has. I remember someone who smokes mentioning that at WebmasterWorld in Orlando. I have a bad memory anyway so I can't remember who it was - I also might have been the worse for wear from the nice 711 goodies.

Smokes = stands outside and smokes cigarettes, ie Camel or anything with a hump

Have you noticed if you type w/-m/-w without the slashes and hypens in it and submit your post, the "w/-m/-w" changes to "WebmasterWorld" - just like the google toolbar!
