I have a need to convert some PDF files to Word so that they can be edited. I would then change them back to PDF. I see all kind of tools for this out there and I'm betting there is good open source application for the job.

The latest full version of Acrobat allows you to save the PDF file as a MS Word file. Open the document then select File/Save As... and select .doc

I only have Adobe Reader 6.0 and the only option is Save as Plain Text.
