How to & requirements to install dual monitors

Running windows xp home, Pentium 4.
Will have dual monitors available dvi(1), d15(1). Will need to know what hardware and or software that i will need to connect both. thanks

no software required xp handles it.

you just require 2 graphics cards or a dual head card.

Is it possible to only have one installed Video card in the agp slot? another way of asking is there a single card made that will handle both. If not is a
agp dvi and a seperate pci that is d15 and tv.

I personallly use the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro. One card for 2 monitors is what you are asking, this card is one of the best for that.

All dual head cards come with one VGA slot and one DVI slot. (Unless you're on apple, my Mac has one ADC and on DVI).

This card screams. You just need a DVI to VGA adaptor available almost anywhere. Whoever you buy he card from should have these adaptors.

Got a VERY nice GEForce 5500 a couple months back from newegg for $53 US incl 2day shipping. Snap to set up duals on it....
