How do you edit the text of a button in Fireworks?

Do you have the original PNG? If so you can open it with FW and edit with the text using the type tools. If it is a GIF or JPG then you will probably have to recreate the button. Or you could use tricks like rubber stamping to clone area around the text and then over type (Good practice to store you image in their native format as well as the optimised image - then you can use it later if you need to edit the pic)
