For multiple users?

I host some domains for a client and webmail would be a useful addition when they travel. The hosting firm offer CPanel whihc allows webmail, but to login you need the admin login. There doesn't seem to be a way to offer a separate login for webmail only.

Anyone got any suggestions or experience of this?

Thanks.

you need to goto the mail section of cpanel. there should be a link to webmail in there, right click and copy link location (in firefox). you can setup a subdomain forwarding to it.

I am familiar with Cpanel with WHM. If you're using the same, then you do not need to use the admin access to let your users log in to their own email accounts via CPanel. Simply use the URL
www.yourdomain.com/webmail
and that should redirect to the email section, but it will require a username and password. The user simply enters their email address log in and password info. Then they are "in." (If the webmail directory does not redirect that way for you, then you may need to get the default address for email access from your own CPanel.)

I didn't know about the /webmail trick so I've told my users to use one of the free pop3 email checker such as emailsonweb.com .

I will now definitelly dig more to the webmail option.

Multiman,

Thanks, I didn't even know that. Nothing on the cpanel site about it either!
