Hello everyone!

I'm a new 'webmaster' (and I use that term VERY advisedly as I'm not a 'master' at anything!).

My site is at <snip>. If you have a look, you'll see that it is a soccer coaching site, offering advice to new and struggling kids' soccer coaches.

I'm starting a newsletter and have been wondering whether to send it out as text or HTML. After reading some other posts on this forum, I've decided that I'll send a short text newsletter to my subscribers with a link to an enhanced HTML version of the newsletter on <snip>.

Trouble is, I can't work out how to insert the link!

There doesn't seem to be a facility to do this in the text editor I'm using (NoteTab Lite). If it's relevant, I'm sending the newsletter via Bravenet.

Can anyone assist?

thanks

Welcome to Webmaster World!
Please note that the TOS states that you can't post URL's:
[webmasterworld.com...]

Trouble is, I can't work out how to insert the link!

Generally in an HTML email, you can include a link by going:
<a href="ENTER URL HERE">TEXT TO BE SHOWN HERE</a>

Example:

<a href="http://www.google.ca">Click to go to Google</a>

It would appear as:
Click to go to Google [google.ca]

You can't include a link in a pure text document. However, some email clients will interpret urls as links so just include the url. You should generally include the http:// prefix.
