this is second time i've seen this prompt on a public thread.

Either we require login from users from your ISP because of abuse, or the thread is marked members only.

Should i be concerned or is this typical having a dynamic ip with sympatico?

I've used Sympatico for years, but I always stay logged in, so no problem. Checking with another browser and remaining logged out, effectively all threads are inaccessible without a login. No big problem for me - but obviously some Sympatico/Bell Canada customers have caused problems in the past.
