It is hitting me quite often and slowing puter down

How should I handle this. Norton firewall blocks it for 30min then it comes back later and it all keeps cycling my computer. Any help would be so appreciated! Thanks ahead of time.

From memory, I think you need to disable plug and play from having control of port 5000.
A quick search on the net should reveal a few options for resolving it.
You might want to check it's not actually a rogue piece of software on your PC trying to access a port as localhost.
