index of....

am i missing a page

Hello,
if i search for:
[example.com...] or red.html or green.html

the page appears, no problem,
but if i type:
[example.com...]
an "index of cars" page appears where my pages can be seen in that particular folder:

blue.html
green.html
red.html
orange.html

is this ok, does it prevent robots following my pages to all the deeper folders, should i put a blank index.html in there?

you could also stop the server showing directory indexes by putting this line into the .htaccess file:

Options -Indexes
