Hi Kirtis. You might consider creating a site from a hobby or interest of yours. I made my first website as a class project and chose gardening because it is my hobby. It is still running after four years and getting about 1k visits per week. Nothing like making a site that benefits others, you can use your SEO skills and practice design and coding all at the same time.

Glad you are at Webmaster World, everyone here is very friendly and supportive.

hi there.
what you might want to do it build a site that is very specific to something you know a lot about, that way you can fill your pages with loads of high quality content. Also you can spend some time finding out what works and doesnt work , in terms of search engine ranking. Use your site as a project to teach yourself the importaint lessons and you will be able to use them fully in future sites.

all the best.

Or pick a few affiliate programs of similar type
(like a few hosting companies or something) in a market you know something about. That way you can even invest some money into trying various advertising methods and get a little of that back out.
