do you know basic excel?

if so, you can do a pretty trivial spreadsheet showing a column with various payments in each row, then in the next column calculate a % increase. your next month's estimated value would then be the last month's value times (1 + the average % increase for the past, say, three months).

if you have a lot of past history, you can get much more complex to accommodate seasonal variation, if any, etc.

Was going to put this in my last post...

If anyone is willing to help me I would be very thankful indeed! All I am looking for is an excel sheet where you type in the previous payments and it calculates the projected next month’s payment...

i am having trouble with is the function arguments ... (x, known_y's, known x_s)
ok let me do this and it may help, lets say in cell A1 i have the number 10, in cell A2 i have 20, in cell A3 i have 30 and so on. now i highlight the next cell that doesnt have anything in it because thats where i want my formula to go, i click on the formula toolbar and choose "forecast" but what i am having trouble is knowing what to put in those three fields (x, and the knowns) once i click the forecast formula... not sure what to put in those three fields.
