Letting other people have a free webpage on your domain!

This could be very profitable!

I run a music related website and just had someone "in the biz" contact me and ask if I would make a quick webpage for them, and host it on my site like this:

www.mysite.com/therefolder/

They are a solo act, and I'm sure would promote this page, bringing quite a few hits to my site.

Since I'm making the page, I could of course add some affiliate links, and Google Adsense and make a nice little profit off this, for little work and cost for me. (I'm making the page and hosting it for them for free, so I think this is a fair trade, and they wouldn't object to it... I will of course, ask first.)

But this got me thinking, maybe I should do something like this on a larger scale... Allow people a free page.

Does anyone else do anything like this?

Are there any scripts that can allow people to make there own pages, which then I could approve before published, and add the Adsense code?

I have yet to see a Good free (OR paid) script to do this, so you or someone else would need to create the script.

It's not as profitable as you might think, most of the time people forget about their FREE web site/page and most sites that don't sale anything and just use advertisement don't make much cash. In order to make money off advertisement you need large amounts of visitors (That like to click).
