I run a membership based site and traffic is increasing. I run the site on my home server connected to internet through an ADSL.

Members complain that site is slow and graphics take time to load. I have tried to optimized pages and pictures but complaints are still there. I run MS Exchange, SQL server and IIS on the same Windows 2003 server.

As most of the members are from USA so I want to make sure they get pages loaded at a lightening speed. I know that I cannot request any URL posting here on the forum but would appreciate sticky mail from members on the good web hosting companies. Should I look for a hosting anywhere in USA or does it matter what state my host is located in? If state is important, what states I should be looking at? Should I request a separate server for my site only or can it be shared with other sites?

I want someone who is reliable as this database and our code is very important to us. I am willing to spend more money but I want someone who is reliable and can deliver very good speed page loading with a reliable service.

People may say otherwise, but I always go for popular companies, reassurance more then anything. You'll also find many complaints about the most popular hosts .. but that's expected with the amount of customers. Fasthost and godaddy I find decent ... never had a problem and has always been fast, reliable etc for me ...

Good luck.
