Why do images disappear?

Every now and then, I will check a page and notice that an image has just up and disappeared. I re-upload the image and everything is fine again. Why does this happen and is there anyway to prevent it?

IF you are using Opera - Yeah, I've had that happen! I don't know what the deal is, but it seems like a few good refreshes will take care of it.

I tend to notice it most when I scroll through a page of mine quickly, then go back to the top... Maybe it's my display adapter, and maybe it's all irrelevant! But, I hope it helps in the slight event it may.

No ... I don't use opera and I don't think it has anything to do with the browsers I use. It appears that somehow the links get broken??? I have to upload the image and the page most times to make it work again.

Anyone have this happen? How come?
