I am at a complete loss as to why our site is at an all time low. Our PR is at an all time high (PR6) and the most of our internal pages (5,000+) are ALL PR5 & PR6 pages. We also have the best (and most) incoming links we have ever had.... however, our traffic is worse than it was when we started the site over 4 years ago!

In August we switched to a new dedicated server. Recently I was speaking to someone and they made a comment that there could possibly be someone on our IP block with a penalty.

I'm wondering if there is a quick way to check all IP addresses on our C block to see if any of them have a penalty. I've used the dns tools at dnsstuff.com - but it will take too long. Anyone have any suggestions?

It's a long shot - but I figure I should check it out as everything is showing our site should be doing VERY well, but it is suffering HARD.

You might want to check SPEWS. If your IPs are on the list it can take a lot of work to get them off, but it can be done.

Thanks fiestagirl - however, we are not listed on Spews. I've checked quite a few sites that have tools to check bad/spam lists and we are not listed (which is good).... so I'm wondering if there is an IP in our block that could be causing some sort of problem. Any other ideas?

You can use this tool, "Whois Source". Type that into google to find the whois website. Type in an ip address to whois. Click the "Web server hosts" link to show all domains parked at that ip address. Do that for all 256 IPs. You may need to pay for an account.

LOL - I know I can do it 256 times - thanks thought. I'm looking for a way ... or a program that will check all IPs in a block so I don't have to check something 256 times. Any ideas?
