I get this error

You chose to install in the main directory of the domain example.com, but there are conflicting filenames, therefore we can not proceed.

Following filenames already exist in the main directory of the domain example.com (path="/home/examplef/public_html/").You must manually remove these files before proceeding with auto-installation:
images

What files?

It's asking me to remove /public_html?

Are you installing manually rather than using a pre-set cpanel script install?

If so, you may have to manually create the main install folder (AND the MySql db) for the forum installation. Is this phpBB you're installing? If so, you might find more info on the phpBB.com fora....

[Edit: Oh. Idiot (me. not you.)] It's saying the "images" folder is already existing in the public_html folder - not an unusual occurence. Make a folder, naming it "forum" or "bbs" or whatever, THEN try installing into THAT folder....

If that doesn't work, you'll need to move or rename the "images" folder. Don't know how much that will balls-up your current site....

vkaryl, I am using the pre set installation from cpanel (fantastico)..not manually installing.

It's an automatic install then you just go into admin and set up the board the way you like.

yes phpbb

Duh...that was it..You know I didnt even see the word "image" in the error message until you pointed it out.

I thought it was saying to rename/delete public_html ..I thought that was lame lol

Thanks for your help!
