Mapping a site for a presentation (first draft)

I realized that I never thought my maps depicting boxes or DIR branching out and showing relationship in between DIR and Applications might be insufficient.

However for a new work (already contracted) I need to do it better
Reasons is that it goes to many different interlocutors
So the question is: What is your favorite tool used to deliver such a presentation?
And what do you depict?

Thank you
Regards
Henry

I need to do it better

Is it possible to expand this comment to include the type(s) of "better" you are looking for?

Henry,

There are an awful lot of ways that you can go. I have used MS Visio in the past to diagram a site for a client.

I've got a friend who swears by MindMapping. I tried a trial of MindManager by MindJet.com but didn't buy it.

You can also use a wireframe tool to let your client have outline of an app he can step through. One I've had good luck with is an open source ColdFusion program called ReBar at [fusium.com...]

Another ColdFusion/PHP one is FuseBuilder at FuseBuilder.net

Lastly attended a user group program on a visual designer that will also generate code called Adalon at adalon.net. Got a CD but haven't had time to look at it yet. The demo was impressive but it is a bit pricey.

Thank you for the info
When I said "better"
I was thinking to go above the classical rendering
that one can obtain by using MS Word boxes or MS XL

The above works fine when you are present to sustain your demo

But will not be sufficient if the document needs to be self-explanatory

Therefore I will look at application such as the one suggested by Holmes
