I need to get an email management system that can handle sending about 1 email a month to 250,000 people. (They're registered customers so it's not spam.)
Up until recently the numbers haven't been as big so I've been using Group Mail from Infacta and have been fairly happy with it. However, I'm going to need to segment these customers, record which email campaigns they've received and track the results etc and I don't think Group Mail can cope with this scale.
Does anyone have any experience of managing campaigns of this size and are there any systems that you recommend? GoldMine has been suggested to me as an option. Has anyone used that.

Why not checkout SendStudio, it is a web based solution and is pretty good too.
